We’ve been doing a 30-day worship Journey with our guys small group and I just thought I’d try posting some of it. First we were supposed to read Psalm 100:
Psalm 100 – A psalm. For giving thanks.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Next, we journal about one of God’s characteristics – Today it was FAITHFUL. Here’s what I wrote:
Faithful – Hmm? What does that mean? Does it mean steadfast? Consistently Good? Always available? Or could it mean exactly what it says – “Full of Faith?” I wonder God if You have that kind of faith in me?I have failed You over and over, but I guess the other side of it is that You know me better than I do myself. Could it really be true that You believe in me? That You believe in Your creation? Your work? Could it be that I could live up to the fullness of Your faith God? Help me. I’d love it if I could.
