• put Kasen to bed tonight & he didn’t cry. Either daddy has the magic touch or maybe he was really tired. I’m going with the magic. #
• is thinking about having a productive day. It’s the thought that counts. Right? #
• enjoyed Nena’s breakfast tacos this morning with Chris, Lindsey, and Carol. #
• Had el chico for lunch and is meeting again. #
• is grateful for Joe’s Bible Study group (good friends in Ft Worth). Thanks for such a cool gift. #
• wishes he could go snow skiing tomorrow morning. Breathe in the cool air. Sail down a good “blue.” – Wake Up Steve!! You’re in Lake Jackson. #
• is feeling a little sick and stayed home to rest this morning. #
• is looking Kesleigh in the eyes and wondering what goes through a 2-week-old mind. #
• is headed to pick up Jr Highers to do some video stuff. #
• is starting band practice – looks like I’m playin’ drums again tonight – both scary and sad. #
• thinks it’s funny that youth hang out at our house. We’re boring. Just sat & watched American Idol tonight, but Justin & Cristy came anyway. #
• has too many books. It’s tough to decide which one to read next. #
• took Kasen to the babysitter. Now I’m headed to work. #
• is working on Sunday School stuff. #
• Doesnt understand how hospitals calculate a bill. #
• loves his small group – even Daniel and his trash-talk. #
• is on the lookout for Jason in his hockey mask today. (Friday the 13th) #
• had fun with the family at Moody Gardens and Rainforest Cafe. Kasen loved the penguins and the monkey robots. #
• is listening to his own stomach rumble. Hoping it’s not gonna make for a long night. #
• is not sleeping. #
• loves that fact that Kasen is sitting in his toy truck with nothing but his 2 toy guitars packed for travel. #
• thinks it’s time for a little lunch. #
• thinks the playground at the mall is always way too crowded when it’s raining outside. #
• is starting early – teaching his boy (16 months) how to be a man – building a fire tonight. #
• Is at the church for the morning. We talked about texas roadhouse for lunch. #
• invited all the youth to his house tonight for burgers & an “old school” movie – their choice – Lean on Me, With Honors, or Groundhog Day. #
• is between awake & asleep – sort of a mind-slowing/numb/half-hearing/half-typing/heavy-breathing/half-snoring state of semi-consciousness. #
